Stewart Cink won the playoff against Tom Watson to claim victory at the 2009 British Open at Turnberry in Scotland. It was an entertaining tournament to say the least, with plenty of disappointments -- Tiger Woods failing to qualify, Tom Watson's awkward putt -- but also a major win for Cink, who, despite all the negative press, handled himself like gentleman and showed the golfing world that he is at the top of his game and should not be pushed aside.
